Carbon Fiber Vinyl is Perfect for the Plotter

Many people enjoy the look of carbon fiber vinyl but they do not understand that it can be plotted out just like any other type of vinyl. There are many ways that it can be used and cut to make great additions to a vehicle that needs to have a distinct look to it. The real carbon fiber is a 3D material and the vinyl mimics this look perfectly and can be used in the same way that other vinyl is used on vehicles.

The following are some ways that carbon fiber vinyl can be plotted for use on a vehicle:

• Magnetic Signs – Overlay your magnetic signs with carbon fiber vinyl and then use white lettering to have a sign that makes an impact. The best part about working with magnetic signs is that they are removable and they can be used when needed instead of being permanently installed onto the vehicle. Using this type of material offers a sign that really stands out and that potential customers really take notice of.
• Pin Striping – Many graphic designers and auto decal specialists do not think that this material makes good pin stripes. The opposite of this is actually true. Carbon fiber vinyl is perfect for pin striping and it can also be used for larger stripes down the hood and trunk to tie in the smaller pin stripes. No matter what color of vinyl you are using, this look is stunning and unique.
• Decals – Using this material for decals is not something that most people would consider for their vehicle. Carbon fiber can be fun and it does not have to be used for wraps. It can be cut on the plotter into any of the many designs that are imagined. A dragon on the hood or a flame down the side cut from this vinyl can be visually pleasing and again, is a unique look that not many others have yet.
• Rims/Wheel Covers – Why stick to using this material on just the body of the car? The rims can be overlaid with this vinyl material to set them apart from the rest of the car. Everyone is so hyped on cool and unique rims and this is a great way to obtain cool and unique on your vehicle. This can also tie in the rims or wheel covers to the carbon fiber pin striping, magnetic sign or decaling work that is on the rest of the vehicle. The plotter can be used to cut the vinyl to perfectly fit the size of the rim or wheel cover that is being covered.

As has been illustrated, carbon fiber vinyl is a great product and offers more than just vehicle wrapping.
