is it toxic to put a paintbrush with oilbased paint left on it, in the fridge (wrapped in plastic)?

i put it in the fridge so it will dry and get hard

It depends on how much paint is on it. I wouldn’t put it next to the eggs or fruits and vegetables that will absorb any odors. You put it in plastic which will keep it wet….

Most of us don’t want our brushes to dry with paint on them…..A fridge is an enclosed space. If you want it to dry, why not stick it out in the open somewhere? Next to a furnace or in a warm room will dry it out, too.
