How To Maximize Dollar Store Sales On Your End Caps And Bulk Displays

How to start a dollar store; there is so much to learn before it is possible to successfully open and operate a dollar store.  First you must make sure you are even cut out to operate a retail business. · Make sure every end cap and bulk display is bright, cheerful and eye-catching.  Properly sign end caps and bulk displays.  Use attention-grabbing sign colors.  Use large easily readable lettering.  Always be on the lookout for brightly packaged items to make the displays stand out even more.

· Display high quality dollar store merchandise that represents a great value for your shoppers.  Never use your end caps and bulk displays as a catchall to sell cheap, inferior quality merchandise.

· Include displays of core products your shoppers must purchase on a routine basis.  These displays are a great way to tell your shoppers you carry the very items they must have – and those items are in stock and available for purchase right now.

· Make the dollar store merchandise displays in your store impressive.  Fill end caps to the brim.  Build tall bulk displays.  While you never want to go overboard and have a tall stack of merchandise come tumbling down on some poor unsuspecting shopper, tall, wide displays will always draw shopper attention.
