They have a lower degree of friction owing to their thermal resistance as such the ceramic longboard skateboard bearings are considered ideal for high speed downhill racing for which the longboard skateboards are most commonly used. The longboard skateboard bearings make the longboard skateboards a good mode of transportation, since the ceramic bearings provide a smoother rolling experience. The ceramic bearings being light in weight provide a good opportunity for skateboarders to try out certain tricks with their longboard skateboard.
